Over the years, I have bookmarked countless sites for learning languages. (I'm a total language freak, as anyone who knows me would tell you!) One day I made an html page to use as my home page with links to all the most useful language learning sites I often used. Friends would often ask me to email them links to good sites, and I eventually decided to throw my html page up on the Internet so I could easily refer them to it. And thus Lingualism.com was born! I've since then continued to rework Lingualism into an online resource for all.

My hope is that Lingualism can become a useful go-to site to find the most useful and interesting language learning material on the Web. There's so much garbage on the Web, and I've wasted countless hours visiting sites that offered little useful content or were just plain spammy. Many other link sites out there are also outdated and full of broken links. Often, wordy reviews accompany each link, but really I can just click on the link and see for myself, can't I? So Lingualism goes for a minimalist approach, with simple links neatly organized into categories. Hovering over a link causes a small Snap Shots preview to pop up, giving you a better idea whether you want to visit the page.

In short, the aim of this site is to save you all the hunting around for the gems out there. I'm collecting them all right here, as best I can, for your convenience. If you do know of a "gem" you think is derserving of being listed on Lingualism, please do let me know!
